The Veterans and Military Coalition of the Ozarks Will Host Job & Resource Fair

Branson, Mo. –  The Veterans and Military Coalition of the Ozarks (VMCO) or “The Coalition”, along with Missouri Job Center – Branson are hosting a Veterans Job and Resource Fair on Wednesday, February 21, 2018, from 10 am to 2 pm, at Faith Lutheran Church, 221 Malone Street, Branson, MO. The event will take place in the lower level of the building.

Veterans, active military, National Guard and Reserve members, spouses, dependents, survivors and caregivers, as well as the general public, are encouraged to attend this event. Representatives will be available from Veteran-friendly employers and resource agencies including VA benefits, service officers, family assistance, behavioral health, financial and legal guidance, employment and training, and additional services. Attendees will have the opportunity to visit with these representatives who will provide information and answer questions.

The Veterans Military Coalition of the Ozarks is a group of veterans’ service organizations, military organizations and community partners dedicated to:

  • Representing the interests of the entire veterans and uniformed services community in our area.
  • Ensuring that state legislators and community leaders and the community at large are aware of and support positive initiatives that recognize and honor the sacrifices of our uniformed service members, veterans and their families for their service to our nation.
  • Ensuring and developing direct, free professional assistance to veterans, military and their families in obtaining benefits and services earned through military service and provided by the Department of Veterans Affairs (VA) and other local, state and federal government agencies.
  • Maximizing areas of support provided by other Veterans Service Organizations
