An employee responsible for and dedicated to the Safety and Security of all Health Systems staff members, visitors, and patients utilizing Peace Officer training and public relation skills to ensure a congenial environment.
The employee practices effective problem identification, applying preventative, protective, and defensive tactics, seeks appropriate solutions and requests assistance as necessary. Documents observations and actions in department reports.
Required: Completion of the Missouri POST Licensure requirements
No prior experience required; must be 21 years of age.
Must have a clean driving record within the last five years, including moving violations and speeding tickets. Any previous driving violations must be reviewed and approved.
Able to communicate clearly in a variety of situations.
Basic computer skills.
Able to climb, lift, carry, pull, etc. up to 101 pounds, or more.
May be required to sit, stand, and walk for extended periods of time.
Required: Active Driver’s License
Have and maintain a current POST Licensure through the Missouri Department of Public Safety, possessing a license with the required minimum training standards to include yearly training and certifications supported with current documentation
